About Flew the Coop
Inspired by Harding’s life-changing experience with animal adoption, Flew The Coop® is a charitable initiative that supports nonprofits dedicated to rescuing animals in need and providing emergency assistance to those in crisis during disasters. Operated by Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), the initiative works to scale the impact of the non-profit partners it supports including Animal Haven, Dogs & Cats of Antigua, Kentucky Humane Society and The SATO Project, among others.
About Global Empowerment Mission
Global Empowerment Mission was formed in response to the 2010 Haiti Earthquake. Our objective is to deliver the most amount of aid, to the most amount of people in need, in the shortest amount of time and with the least amount of costs to our donors. With speed, efficiency, and local expertise, we have deployed over 355 disaster relief missions in 57 countries and all 50 states. GEM is 4-star rated by Charity Navigator, earning 100% across all four categories (Accountability & Finance, Impact & Results).
About PetScreening
Our Founder & CEO, John R. Bradford, III, started PetScreening in 2017 based on his personal ideology that pit bulls, german shepherds, rottweilers and other guard-dog breeds are not necessarily dangerous just because of their breed. He believed that every pet and its owner, together, represented a bigger picture, painted by specific data that could be shared with landlords, property managers, and businesses to make better pet-related decisions. His vision was simple: to make the world better.
