How FidoAlert Works
Every free FidoAlert tag we create is printed in-house on our very own machines! That means each tag is created by our team, under our roof, with materials sourced by local companies. Keeping our operation in-house ensures hands-on care, attention to detail and quality at every step of the process.
Our first machine was a workhorse, having printed well over 700,000 tags since 2023. As of March 2026, we’ve expanded our operations and added two new, highly-advanced machines to keep up with demand and add flexibility to what types of tags we could offer.
Every tag printed represents 1 more pet protected and another family potentially brought back together. We’re committed to delivering the best lost-pet-recovery network in the country, and that commitment is engraved directly into each tag.
FidoAlert is a nationwide pet alert network that connects you to thousands of local Pet Finders. It's free to join, and can help being your lost dog or cat home safely.
